Hello again to another weekly update.

After last weeks small update, I spent the week working on my new house. From sanding wood floors, renovating and painting walls to actually remaking in wall wardrobes. As such as soon as I touched my bed I was sleeping, I can't feel my arms, legs or torso. Good thing I only fingers to make pixel art...

This week, is all about choices for the hairs. I thought that the number of colors for them were ver short and I wanted to address that. I also wanted to make a new hairstyle for this week.

So I added 6 new colors for each hairstyle. But James I hear you say, is that easy to do? It's just selecting a new color and that's it.

You see, I use a palette for the assets, so that everything is consistent. Sometimes I go off it, but mostly I keep to it.  Making hair follow this palette choice is sometimes a bit hard.

I also added two extra things to the pack, a balding gray hairstyle.

Lastly, but certainly not the least... A new skin tone, the Indian skin tone.Now the pack has three skin tones, from latest to oldest, Indian, Black, White. I'm still trying to get the Asian look down, but I'm never happy with how the colors connect with my current palette.

I tend to look at actual skin tones for these, these are not obtain out of nowhere since I believe that human variety is amazing and I really want to capture it, even if its in 16x16 pixels squares...

Also I've updated the character canvas to 64x64 as the upcoming Adventure Pack needs more space for swinging animations.

Farm update

Regarding the farm, this week there is no farm update yet. I'm working on the calf and two new animations for it, but I could not make any this week. I'm trying for a weekend update but my house is clearly wining this fight and it's taking over my time.

Adventure pack

I don't have a lot for the new pack, but I managed to make a new set of clothes for an "Old School Adventurer", an homage coming out of the 90s.
