Hey man, I used your assets in that college project. You can find it here: https://pips.scot/ The game itself is called Camp Cliff. Let me know what you think ☺️. (It's kind of buggy but it works 👌)
Also I think we could benefit from having all the player actions/animations in one single png file, and all the hairs/accessories following the same 1 sheet option, it gets really complex trying to fit all different files into character customization, I think the player is the top priority that needs a 1 sheet png.
In example the player with all movements and animations in one sheet, then the hairs each color the same with all movements and animations in 1 sheet that overlaps the main player sheet... etc etc
I'm using another character in the prototype for this reason.
Hello there friend, I've encountered some issues with the recent download of the newest versions of all your assets, apparently they contain 11k files, this is problematic as engines like Godot don't like so many files, especially in a 2D game, is it only me, can you double check if your files are that many? also adding folders is considered files too, so if you have too many subfolders it will increase the file management process by a lot, please consider having fewer subfolders and fewer sample images, or on the other hand, you could create a more condense tileset with all assets in a single file, similar to Limezu? just some feedback I had. Thanks for the amazing work!
Yeah, its a lot indeed. I was just checking as I divide all into several sheets. It's not a bad idea to just bundle all in a couple of spreadsheets.
I am not at home right now, but I want to return to the packs for the next week and I will take care of this first thing as I want to have it all organized from the get go.
Hi! I'm working on a survival game, and it's quite advanced (you can harvest, build, gather, ...), but the assets I'm using from other artists are a bit limited, and I don't have everything I need. I’ve purchased all of your packs because I’m considering changing all the graphical art and using yours, as they offer more options for decoration and tools. However, I think it would be interesting to add certain animations that might be useful for people making the same type of game as mine, and I’m not sure if you have them in your plans.
Here are some ideas:
Animation of the player swimming in the water
Animation of the player attacking with their fists
Animation of the player eating.
Animation of the player using their hands (just animate the hands with smoke, for example, when the player is crafting without a crafting table.).
More types of chests (Wood, Metal, Gold, for example, to simulate varying capacities)
An explanatory template on how to map the terrain tileset (like Sprout Lands asset pack, and the size of the piece that each tile represents).
An explanatory template on how to map the wall tileset for building (and the size of the piece that each tile represents)
Fence gate
Stone fence
Torch
Campfire
Twig
Sand material (for making glass)
Grassfiber (for making rope)
Spider enemy (for making the fishing line)
It would be great if the doors had an opening effect, but without the top frame, so it doesn't interfere with the programming YSORT (i.e., just the door opening), and when the player builds walls, they should leave a gap for the door to be placed.
These are just ideas; in any case, you've done a great job and created a very beautiful and complete asset.
There's no problem man, take care of your family, I'll be eagerly waiting for updates! Thanks again for your work, it has helped me a lot to learn how to program and develop my game <3
I wanted to thank you. I used this and your fishing pack on my new game, Fishing Tale. It is now available for download on the Google Play store and soon to be released on Steam!
Hey I bought your bundle a few days ago and I am building a character creator for my game. I was wondering if you had a sprite sheet counting all animations for all the actions? I just wanted to ask before I make one, and couldn't find one.
Just found out there is no bald hair style animations for death animation in the folder. Just a heads up
Hey! I have bought the bundle and it all looks really cool so far! Using Godot 4, I have a pattern set up as you can see below. I have it set as "match corners and edges" First time doing this and its not obvious what is wrong! Any help appreciated! Image is here: https://www.loom.com/i/b9671e5c9f2545069fcdd6235190a564
Hey, love your packs! I purchased them to hopefully use in my game. I'm trying out the Godot engine. I'm having issues swapping sprites though since the idle, walk, run, attacks, etc. All their bodies, hair, shoes, etc are different size sprite sheets. So it's not liking being swapped out by just switching the texture. Didn't know if you had an approach for this :)
Also if you have a way for me to contact you that would be great :) I have a question about potentially commissioning you for extra things I may need (if you do commissions)
Bought your pack yesterday and I'm loving it! One issue I've had is with building houses. Compared to the rest of the pack, the houses tile maps felt pretty unorganized and was difficult to find all the proper pieces. It also was pretty unintuitive to figure out what pieces were meant for what (though that might be a skill issue for me :p). Eventually I got it, but it took a lot of layer manipulation (I went from 3 layers to 6) and I wasn't expecting it so the learning curve was a bit steeper. There's probably an easier way, but that's how I figured it out. Maybe some more examples / instructional images? There were some and they were the only way I figured out what I was doing.
Besides not being able to support my ineptitude, its great, and I love the art style!
Hey, please, update the free pack license in the description. At first, it says free to use for both commercial and non-com, but in 3rd paragraph, it says that we can't use it on any commercial project. Love this tileset. Using it for my portfolio non-commercial game project. I will update the comment with a link to the release.
How do you do the side walls for the front of a house without having a gap. I have it set to 16x16. All of the tiles have this problem or I have to use the black underneath tile. I am using the free pack.
That was intended to be layed upon several layers of floors and there should be another tike behind it. So 1st floor would be on a lower layer, then second floor , etc... But frankly, after revamping the walls in the upcoming update I've looked into this, and it makes no sense.
In the next update (saturday) this will be fixed already.
Hey @almostApixel. I have been working with your free pack for a while and I just bought your full pack. (I love your artwork btw). I have a question regarding what you’re allowed to use this pack for. If I were to continue developing a game with your pack and put it on steam would that be allowed? Do I need to buy a commercial license? If so where?
If you bought the full pack you are allowed to sell you game commercially.
No need to give recognition on the art. Just make an awesome game. Also, leave a link to your game on steam as soon as its out. Really would love to see it
Your a G. Hopefully will be ready sometime in April. I don't have an artistic bone in my body, but love the programming side of things. I love when artists and programmers team up to make a great project. I'll send you a link when it's done!
Hey man, I have a college group project and we are looking at using your assets. The only question we have, I have paid for some of the assets (amazing btw great work), would we be allowed to edit assets to our needs or does the licence not allow that?
Edit away my good friend! You just can't sell the edited items as your own work, the same way I can't pickup donald duck, change to cap to red and claim it as mine to sell. But use them, change them as you see fit for your college group project.
Is there some kind of tool available that can automate putting together sprite sheets for these packs? The packs are very nice but it's super tedious having to merge every combination for every animation for every character you want to make.

Have a nice day! :)
Not on hold/abandoned.
Just that this year has been severely harsh on me, my family and my health and I just can't reach everywhere unfortunately.
I am working on the next pack, just slower than I wanted.
Family and health are always first, I'm glad to hear you are still around, be safe no worries about the assets I was just wondering. Take care!

Hi! I bought your complete pack sale and am loving it so far. I am making it for a commercial product, where can I go to buy a commercial license?
You already have... If you bought the complete pack.. that's it :D
Thank you

Sorry for the delay. I will look into this.
No worries at all! Thank you!
permission to ask, can I use this free asset and upload it on the play store?, I'm just learning so I'm afraid of making a mistake
The free pack is still not 100% free, it's used for non commercial usage.
But I'm changing that in the future. I just had some big issues that stopped me completely from middle of march onwards.

Thank you. I am really glad to be able to help out fellow game developers. Would really love to see games made with these assets.
I'm reviewing the terms and conditions soon. Sorry for the confusion
Feedback for this page> add your new asset underwater here too.

Hello there, what's the recommended font you use in these assets? I need to know xD
Is there some kind of tool available that can automate putting together sprite sheets for these packs? The packs are very nice but it's super tedious having to merge every combination for every animation for every character you want to make.
There was one, but I can't find it.
I am working on a godot character creator that might help, but it will be finished only by end of january.
hola al comprar el pack completo puedo usarlo para cualquier proyecto comercial ? para saber si no es que tengo que comprar la licencia aparte
yes you can. One buy for any project outside of sharing these items or nfts.
Games, you can make any comercial project!
As long as it is a game that uses nfts and not solely using the art to sell as nfts
cute!
