Smallburg V4.0 update #2


Hey,

Continued to work on V4.0 of Smallburg. I've revamped the 8 directions vs the old 4.

While statically it looks like the older one might be fluid, in game, where it counts the new one is 10x (not a real metric) times better.


I've also removed all black lines from the hair when inside the sprite and not on the outline. This way we have an extra pixel line for the clothes and it makes the hair become less plastic like.

I've already done all hairstyles and added three more colors. I've also added another skin tone.


I've also slightly upgraded some hairstyles:


I've already updated all animations for the base pack and I am working on adding all clothes. 

Then I am going to revamp the terrain system to become like this version here:


After this I'll finish the housing and items for Town Pack and move on to the others.

And that's it for now. I hope to update town pack next week and the rest until the end of the month.

Then move on to create new packs.

for the terrain system, are you talking about using a dual grid?

(I’ve watched multiple videos from Oskar Stålberg but don’t have time to watch this one now to know if it’s that!)

Yes. It gains more adaptability from my tests.
