Upgraded Terrains


Hey... 54 days since my last update. (facepalm)

Crazy how life creeps in and shuts down most of our plans. It's always, I'll start updating next week and when you realize it's been 2 months.

I am in the process of making some demos and even a small game using Smallburg as base and I realized that some of the terrain was missing.

I've added now a lot more options to build the terrains.


This should enable you to use this as a tilemap in Godot, Unity etc without missing anything. As you can see in this very low quality gif.

I did the same for the lake tiles and changed the way tiles work so now you can have the hills over water.

This is actually a screenhot of my small demo/game. If features these guys:


Goblins? With new ear options? Yes! You are seeing it correctly. I've been redrawing the characters so we can have new ear options.

Why didn't I finished what I wanted for this pack... well... I got a case of the shinies. I'm working on something and then something shiny comes a long and I lost sight. I'm refocusing now so I finish all I want for the whole packs this month and start on a new one next month.

love those new ear options, especially the bat ones. Perhaps, eventually a second option can be added for the different categories, for instance some wings with the bat ears, tails for the bunny/cat. Then you would have entire new modular races!

Regarding the wings, I would really like that. Time to work on the packs properly has been so low that I've delayed everything (still finishing the hairstyles). But I will put that on my todo list. It's a great idea that really adds an extra layer of customisation.
