Hey man, I have a college group project and we are looking at using your assets. The only question we have, I have paid for some of the assets (amazing btw great work), would we be allowed to edit assets to our needs or does the licence not allow that?
Edit away my good friend! You just can't sell the edited items as your own work, the same way I can't pickup donald duck, change to cap to red and claim it as mine to sell. But use them, change them as you see fit for your college group project.
Is there some kind of tool available that can automate putting together sprite sheets for these packs? The packs are very nice but it's super tedious having to merge every combination for every animation for every character you want to make.
FYI - the first line of your free licence section states: "By using the free license you are allowed to use this pack on any commercial and non-commercial project you desire." and then goes on to say "You cannot use the assets on any commercial project"
Hi almostApixel :) I finally managed to get the auto tiling in Godot to work. Now I stumbled across a missing tile I think. Is there a connection tile for grass, water and beach?

I don't plan to sell assets or redistribute publicly with others. I just don't know how to share with friends otherwise.
Sorry for the delay. I was finishing my first game and I forgot about everything else. You can distribute the free items publicly without any issues. As long as you don't claim them for your own. Even if you share the non free ones with your friends for play purposes it should not be an issue. As long as the repository is not open to everyone.
So, if that is not the case.. don't worry about it... just make your game!

I noticed a little problem in nearly all of your packs. There are a bunch of files which seems to be empty espacially under every *__MACOSX* folder. Also there are *.DS_Store* files in some directories. Maybe you can exclude them before packing.
I am currently working on a character editor for my project and noticed some smaller issues with the *hair* parts.
It seems there are some frames missing under character/adult/jump/hair/bald. Every other hairstyle has six frames for the animation but bald only has 4.
Bunned strains seems to have an export error under idle. Blonde is blue and blue is blue with 12 instead of 8 sprites.
Under run/shorthair brown dark and blue are the same spritesheets
The customization options in your pack are truly incredible. I love the *radical curve* :D
I'll be home soon and I will look these out. I really thank you for this. Some times exporting everything will generate a couple of issues, so I'm glad you caught them

I can't seem to find the connecting lake tile that can connect one "row" of water with the "row" above it. For reference, I'm looking at "smallburg_terrain_summer_with_shadows.png"

I took a look at that sprite with the curved edge. Since these tiles are 16 x 16, the curved edge tile includes additional detail that doesn't mesh well with the water:

Hi. First of all thanks for all these really nice packs. I have them all 😅 My question is regarding the housing system. The wall ends in the screenshots above are currently only achievable if we use the old system are they? For the new walls i could not find the option for separate rooms (Dead-end, 3 and 4 way cross). Did i miss something?
Hey. thanks for pointing that out. When i revamped the walls I did not revamped the inner walls (double Facepalm). I've made the horizontal and vertical walls now. you can download it already n version 3.4 of the paid version of the assets. I'll update the corner walls ASAP.
I might just be really dense, but I am trying to use these tiles inside of Game Maker Studio 2. For some reason the walls are (what looks like about 8px) off? Am I missing something, or am I just really stupid? Either way, help would be appreciated.
I've updated the tiles so you have a middle tile and two side tiles to the left and right. Its on version 3.2.
You should be good for now. If you don't want to use different tiles for the edges, you can always displace the floor by 8 pixels (like you mentioned), and you should get the same effect.
I am struggling at the moment to import the terrain tileset into Tiled, because it seems to me, that the tiles in the tileset are not coming with a consistent size and/or space between the tiles... any suggestions how to split the tileset up in order to build a map? Thanks!!!
The tileset is all 16x16 or multiples of it. The space between them should be 0. and the displacement from the start of the file 16x16 (I leave an empty row / column).
As for the terrain, I usually follow the tileset rules use in this tutorial for godot.
Just bought all your assets, wow they look amazing, I'll be creating a prototype in Godot, I hope you can keep updating them with the planned content as Fishing sounds super exciting! THANK YOU!

Question about the farm asset, I did not find the character by itself without tools, is there a place I should be looking for? Hey man if you manage to achieve some sort of collection like the Minifantasy Essentials Bundle but in your 16x16 I promise I'll buy all your assets, I work in marketing in my day job, and using some inspiration from that bundle will make you a lot of money for sure, not saying what you need to do just trying to support with ideas! keep up the good work!

I'm unsure how to make horizontal roofs as shown in the screenshots. I think this may accidentally include the vertical roofs from the Plants and Crafting Pack instead?

Hey! what a cool pack! I started building a little demo that randomizes a character with random skin, hair, etc. I noticed some inconsistencies in the filenames and folders between different character states idle, jump, run, walk. So I wrote a little script to help me detect what file paths to adjust in order to make them consistent. Really nice, this will help a lot. At start I did not have a proper structure for the files, but as the pack grew, I started having one. Some things slipped by. I will use this and update the pack in the future updates. Thank you.

It's a mistake. I'll update it. The free items should be used in any sort project (except NFT related stuff).

No. I am working on a fishing pack with almost a 100 fishes/ creatures, but it will take a while. This is part of the pack for example.
In the mean while, there is this pack which is really amazing and will probably be better for you in the short term.

it's all the same character. They are meant to be used together.
The village pack has the base animations, as well as adventure pack

No. I've added those as well to the village assets, in a second revamp of the housing system.
As you see its divided by squares for the tiles (this is Aseprite guidelines). Just mix and match all of these.
